Cooper

Born on a stormy night to the mortal Jade, he would be given up atbirth never knowing why he felt so different from other kids. Bounced from home to home he would run away at the age of fourteen after nearly killing his foster mother in a fit of rage.

With no place to stay and too young to work he became a child of the streets, often offering up his blood or body for a few dollars and warm bed. His search for kinship and a place to call home led him to the very tavern his now immortal mother and mortal aunt now haunted.

Spending his days in an abandoned building he would haunt the tavern at night looking for a willing mark.

It would be the vampire youth Nothing who turned Coopers simple life upside-down one fateful night. Smitten he would find heaven and hell in the arms of this strange young boy yet it would not last, leaving cooper heartbroken once again. Herself in love with Nothing a mortal girl named Jaded would quickly make friends with Cooper never realizing that the boy was her own nephew.

Finding comfort and friendship in each others arms they would spend many endless nights running from the demons that haunted them both. Crushed when Jaded was kidnapped by Akita he would find love once more in the arms of an Asian youth named Tran. Things seemed to be good for Cooper now that he had Tran in his life. He was happy for the first time in a while but fate would step in to deal him an unkind hand. The bloodlust that was hidden deep within was fighting to be released. Tormented by the longing for blood he would fight to keep his sanity and mortality. A fight he would not win the night Adrielstepped into the tavern.

Coopers love for Tran was strong but one look at Adriel and he would be captured. Something in the boys eyes drew cooper to him and they were soon deep in conversation, unable to deny the spark they both felt. Turned on by coopers rising bloodlust Adriel would willingly give himself to Cooper, sealing both their fates forever.

Unable to hide their love the pair would often meet at the tavern until Tran found out and made it a point to let Adriel know he was still very much a part of Cooper's life. It was at this time that Jaded would come back into his life. Freed from Akita she had been embraced by Nothing forcing a wedge deep into her friendship with Cooper. They would not get the chance to reconcile before Jaded was Killed at the hands of Zinfendel and her own sire.

Despondent over the loss of his friend and lover Cooper would risk everything by embracing Adriel that very night. Furious Tran almost killed both Cooper and Adriel but Cooper would not give in, he was determined not to lose anyone else he loved.

Embraced against his will Adriel vanishes for weeks at a time refusing to feed on his own and even getting kidnapped by a Celtic goddess for a time. Miserable Cooper would find himself in the middle of a twisted game of revenge when the vampire witch Xandria would appear, claiming to be a long lost friend of Jaded's. Planting the seeds of revenge in his vulnerable mind by telling Cooper she can bring back Jaded but she needs a blood sacrifice to do so.

Seeing his chance after Nothing claims Jade, who he now knows is his mother, for his own Cooper attacks his her one stormy night when the house is empty. Slitting her throat he bleeds her dry and places her battered, barbwire bound body in one of Nothings empty slave houses.

With his Mother gone and his love at his side he waits for the peace his soul has been screaming for but will it all end so quietly or will the sins of this lost son come back to haunt him?
